Biography

With a master’s degree in tax law, Javier specialises in examining acquisitions from a legal and a tax perspective. Javier has more than five years’ experience as a real estate lawyer, during which time he has guided private buyers and commercial organisations through sophisticated transactions. He is well-versed in the latest developments in taxation and can advise on all direct and indirect taxes, such as stamp duty, transfer taxes, capital allowances, asset-specific taxes and direct taxation of income and gains.

Highly skilled in both real estate and corporate law, Javier has worked in Madrid and the Balearic Islands, where he joined Mercadal Abogados in 2018. He speaks fluent Spanish, Catalan and English.
